久闻广东粤剧有着极为光荣的革命传统,她那丰富的优秀遗产更与当地的民间工艺——陶塑、广绣、金木雕等有着血肉的联系,因而在广大人民群众中扎下深厚的根基,在欧美、东南亚和港澳同胞中也享有很高的声誉。俗语说,“百闻不如一见”。为了更好向兄弟省市学习,对粤剧传统作进一步了解,最近我们有机会去广东就教于戏剧界的前辈,访问了不少老艺人,翻阅了一些资料,尤为难忘的是到粤剧故乡——佛山参观了始建于宋代的祖庙,给我们留下了深刻的印象,从而对粤剧光辉的斗争历史更怀有崇高的敬意。

We visited many old artists and read some materials. In particular, we went to the hometown of Cantonese opera - Foshan visited the ancestral temple built in the Song Dynasty, leaving a deep impression on us and thus cherishing a high respect for the glorious history of the opera.
