马年金秋,传来湖南《图书馆》杂志被中国图书馆学会评为40年图书馆学优秀期刊的佳音,羊年伊始,正值《图书馆》出版100期之庆。双喜临门,对于《图书馆》来说,这是喜庆的时刻,这是神圣的时刻。值此,作为《图书馆》的热心读者,我们为她自豪,为她欢呼,也为她深深祝福!五、六十年代,我国专门的图书馆学期刊只有三两种。八十年代,国运兴,馆运兴,图书馆学专业刊物不断涌现。今天,据说全国有图书馆学情报学专业期刊七、八十种。然而,遍阅这儿十种刊物,出满100期者,实在是凤毛麟角。故而,我们这个刊物可称为“老字号”了。与同类刊物相比,她较早地为中国图书馆事业鼓与呼,她更为全面地记载着中国图书馆事业的历史。从最初的《图书馆工作》到1980年开始的《湘图通讯》,再到1983年起公开发行的
