已确定 Tn1721是转座子 Tn3家族的一个成员。Tn1722是含有转座基因、能自身转座的“小转座子”部份,Tn1721变株(variant)源于 Tn1722,Tn1731是 Tn1722的 Tc~R 衍生物。当把 Ptac/lacI~q、cat 和 lacl 插入 Tn 1731时则分别为 Tn1735、Tn1736En1737,因而这三者均属于 Tn1721变株,这三者的转座频率为每细胞10~(-3)次。Tn1735变株含有 Ptac,启动子 C 由 trp 操纵子和 lacUV5启动子杂交而成,
Tn1721 has been identified as a member of the transposon Tn3 family. Tn1722 is a “small transposon” part containing a transposable gene that transposes itself. The Tn1721 variant is derived from Tn1722 and Tn1731 is a Tc-R derivative of Tn1722. When Ptac / lacI ~ q, cat and lacl were inserted into Tn1731, they were Tn1735 and Tn1736En1737, respectively. Therefore, all three strains belonged to Tn1721 mutant. The transposition frequency of these three genes was 10-3 per cell.
