2007年6月18—21日国际海洋会议OCEANS’07 IEEE在英国苏格兰阿伯丁(ABERDEEN)召开,这是OCEANS’会议首次在英国召开。来自海洋工程方面的世界知名大学、研究机构和公司的科学家和工程技术人员约500人参加,中国科学院声学研究所组团参加了本次会议。应会议主席John Watson教授邀请,中科院声学所朱维庆教授任信号和图像处理分会主席。朱敏研究员和刘晓东副研究员分别做了水声通信和高分辨率测深侧扫声呐技术方面的会场发言。哈尔滨工程大学、中国海洋局二所和厦门大学也派人参加,海军工程大学也有文章在会上发表。
June 18-21, 2007 The International Ocean Conference OCEANS’07 IEEE was held in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, the first time that the OCEANS ’meeting was held in the UK. Approximately 500 scientists and engineering technicians from world-renowned universities, research institutes and companies in the field of ocean engineering participated in the conference, and the Acoustic Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences organized a delegation to attend this conference. At the invitation of Professor John Watson, chairman of the conference, Prof. Zhu Weiqing, Acoustic Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, chaired the Signal and Image Processing Branch. Researcher Zhu Min and Associate Researcher Liu Xiaodong made speeches at the conference on underwater acoustic communication and high-resolution sounding side-scan sonar respectively. Harbin Engineering University, China Oceanic Security Bureau and Xiamen University also sent two participants, Naval Engineering University, there are articles published at the meeting.
