I remember when I was in junior high school, a language teacher told a little story, saying that when the examination of the late Qing Dynasty, the examiner had ever had such a test: Napoleon and Xiang Yu on the subject. Ding, Qi take the broken round of the maid! “Because vivid and interesting, so still fresh memories .This jokes out on the translation, a person who does not know Napoleon, Wencai Shengyi, it seems the translation of the truth is not correct, people blame the awkward. A few years ago when I wrote a foreign scientist for the Encyclopedia of China / Electronic and Computer Volume, one of the computer inventors, JW Mauchly, was definitely translated as ”Mookley“ according to Japanese and Russian documents. I have always In order to correct others mistranslation ”Murchison“, I do not know who the ”clever“ editor, do not talk to me, a large wave, unauthorized change into a ”Murchison", I stare at the shame column On the whole, become lifelong regret .There are always the knot in the heart, a very solemn book, was not competent editor fell a drop of ink.
