随着我国社会主义工业建设的发展,稀土元素获得了愈益广泛的应用。稀土钴合金,尤其是钐钴合金,作为永磁材料的研究成功,被认为是工业方面的一项重大进展。因此,金属钐的需要量急剧增加,而目前的生产工艺与之不相适应。当前,生产金属钐所采用的原料,都是纯的氧化钐(>99%),致使生产工序长,收率低,成本高。
With the development of China’s socialist industrial construction, rare earth elements have been more and more widely used. The success of the research on rare earth cobalt alloys, especially samarium-cobalt alloys, as permanent magnetic materials is considered to be a significant industrial development. As a result, the demand for metallic samarium has risen dramatically, and the current production process is not compatible with it. At present, the raw materials used for the production of metal samarium are pure samarium oxide (> 99%), resulting in long production steps, low yield and high cost.
