在全国各族人民满腔热情投入到全面建设社会主义和谐社会、实现中华民族伟大复兴的关键时刻,迫切要求人民军队为创造一个有利于全面建设和谐社会的长期安全环境做出应有贡献。正如当年中国共产党赋予人民军队进行土地革命和武装斗争、把日寇驱逐出中国、推翻三座大山解放全国人民、抵抗侵略保卫祖国等历史使命一样,人民军队积极投身到构建和谐社会实践当中去,必将极大的振奋全国各族人民的精神,使构建社会主义和谐社会凝聚更大的力量,并将会起到事半功倍的引领作用。
At a crucial moment when the people of all ethnic groups in China enthusiastically devote themselves to building a socialist harmonious society in an all-round way and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we urgently demand that the people’s army make its due contribution to creating a long-term safe environment conducive to building an all-round harmonious society. Just as the Chinese Communist Party gave the people’s army the agrarian revolution and armed struggle that year, and expelled the Japanese invaded from China, overthrowed the historic mission of liberating the entire country on three mountains and resisting aggression and defending the motherland, the people’s army actively devoted itself to the practice of building a harmonious society. It is bound to greatly inspire the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country and bring about a greater effort to build a harmonious socialist society and will play a leading role with greater multiplication.
