截至今年1月18日,内地31个省区市中,至少有24个已取消公费医疗,全部参加医疗保险。其他省份正在逐步取消公费医疗。1998年12月,国务院发布《关于建立城镇职工基本医疗保险制度的决定》(国发[1998]44号),要求在全国范围内进行城镇职工医疗保险制度改革,所有用人单位(包括机关事业单位)及其职工全部参加城镇职工基本医疗保险制度。
As of January 18 this year, at least 24 out of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the Mainland canceled public medical expenses and all participated in medical insurance. Other provinces are phasing out public health care. In December 1998, the State Council issued the Decision on Establishing the System of Basic Medical Insurance for Urban Workers (Guo Fa [1998] No.44), requiring the reform of the urban employee medical insurance system throughout the country. All employing units (including government agencies and public institutions ) And all their employees participate in the basic medical insurance for urban workers.
