对陶渊明《归园田居·少无适俗韵》“户庭无尘杂,虚室有余闲。久在樊笼里,复得返自然”中的“虚室”一词,人教(2004版)高三册第16页注作:“指房间,也指人的内心。语出《老子》‘虚室生白’。”但究竟是怎样的“内心”。语焉不详。另在《归园田居》其二里,也有“虚室”一词:“野外罕人事,穷巷寡轮鞅。白日掩荆扉,虚室绝尘想。”考察“虚室生白,吉祥止止”的意义
