In the Q-T interval prolongation syndrome and acute myocardial infarction, myocardial repolarization abnormalities are associated with the formation of malignant arrhythmias. The natural process of increased parasympathetic tone or reduced sympathetic tone in the sleep department can lead to prolongation of the Q-T interval that is unrelated to heart rate slowing. In view of the fact that slowing the heart rate due to increased parasympathetic tone during sleep prolongs the QT interval to mask the direct effects of sympathetic nerves, a new method for determining the QT interval that is not subordinate to heart rate is reported in this paper to confirm that humans appear during sleep QT interval prolongation. Methods: Fifteen subjects (11 males and 4 females) underwent continuous electrocardiographic recording for 72 to 144 hours. All subjects met the following criteria: (1) medical history, physical examination and resting ECG without heart disease card
