在北京中南海原周总理居住和办公的院内,有一座古色古香的小亭,名曰;“不染亭”.这是一个清末建筑,亭名也是原有的.这块地方最早是清王朝专门为末代皇帝溥仪的父亲、摄政王载沣修建的西花园,园内一座主建筑就叫西花厅.这个花园还没修好,清王朝就垮台了,留下了如今西花厅等一组建筑.清帝逊位后,西花厅被北洋军阀政府占作国务院,后来又成了国民政府北平(京)特别市市政府所在地.经朝历代,西花厅、不染亭都没变,然而当时有一位好事文人却写过一首打油诗,其中两句说道,“清风明月西花厅,亭虽不染主人污”,是借不染亭对那些贪官污吏们进行辛辣的讽刺.
