心理学家认为:兴趣具有动力作用,那也就是说兴趣可以转化为激发人们进行某种活动的推动力。幼儿时期的儿童,由于注意力等心理因素发展不够成熟,他们的学习在很大程度上带有明显的情绪化倾向,当儿童对学习有浓厚兴趣和好奇心时,便会产生情感上的需求。对孩子来说,英语学习是新的认知点,家长更应考虑孩子情感上的需求,采用生动活泼、有趣味的形式来吸引他们。然而,在当前幼儿英语教学中,由于认识和实践的偏差,许多幼儿英语教学成人化,使幼儿过早丧失了对英语的兴趣。早期的英语教育的关键在于培养幼儿的学习兴趣,而不以学多少个字母,认多少英语单词为教育目的。孩子学习英语,重要的是创设一个轻松愉悦的环境。寓教于乐,让孩子在不知不觉中学习到英语,主动地于人交流、沟通,真正地做到“教者有心,学者无意”。
