村居(社区)调委会在福建省各类人民调解组织中,承担了基层矛盾纠纷预防和化解“第一道防线”的重要使命。据统计,福建省现有1.96万个各类人民调解组织,年均调处各类矛盾纠纷约18万余件,而村(居)调委会就占1.68万个,调处矛盾纠纷10.96万件,约占全省矛盾纠纷总量的60%以上。村居(社区)人民调解组织建设,是福建省司法行政系统关心关注的一件大事。2013年8月下旬,福建省司法厅基层处调研人员分成四组奔赴各地,对村居(社区)调委会建设进行专题调研。
In the various types of people’s mediation organizations in Fujian Province, the village committee (community) commission has assumed the important mission of preventing and resolving conflicts and disputes at the grass-roots level and “the first line of defense.” According to statistics, there are 19,600 types of people’s mediation organizations in Fujian Province, with an average annual transfer of about 180,000 pieces of contradictions and disputes. The village (neighborhood) commission accounts for 16,800 and reconciles to 109,600 contradictions and disputes. Accounting for more than 60% of the total contradictions and disputes in the province. The construction of village residence (community) people’s mediation organizations is a major concern of Fujian’s judicial administrative system. In late August 2013, the research staff at the grassroots level of the Fujian Provincial Department of Justice went to four places and conducted special investigations on the construction of village (community) commission.
