There is a lofty and grandiosc stone memorial archway located in jiuxing Town,flanyuan County, east Sichuan Province, Built in the Qing Dynasty 148 years ago,this stone archway is about 13. 3 meters in height and is carved from local stone. About 30 Chinese popular mythologies and dramas are carved into delicate sculptures on the archway, along with 4 antithetical couplets, 10 horizontal inscribed boards, 2 epitaphs and 186 other stone carvings. The vivid images and exquisite artistry are full of distinctive folk flavor and striking national feature.
