Industry Trends Analysis of Import and Export of Textile and Apparel in the First Quarter of 2011 (1) Steady Growth of Traditional Markets According to the statistics of the Customs, the trade volume of textile and apparel reached 53.78 billion U.S. dollars in the first quarter of 2011, an increase of 24.2% over the same period of last year. Of this total, exports reached US $ 48.63 billion and imports amounted to US $ 5.15 billion, up 24% and 25.8% respectively year-on-year.
