刘效住在济南老商埠区的一栋旧楼房里,家境并不富裕。1973年退伍后,刘效被分配到重型机械厂厂办子弟学校当老师,一直到退休。去年冬天第一次拜访时,令人印象深刻的是窄小的洗手间中为冲印照片安装了红绿白三种颜色的灯。
Liu Xiao lived in an old building in the old commercial port area of Jinan, and his family was not rich. After retiring in 1973, Liu Xiao was assigned to the factory of a heavy machinery factory to run a school as a teacher, until his retirement.
