西营城位于新疆生产建设兵团一四八团团部驻地西营镇以北2．5公里处。该城为正方形，边长550米，占地约454．2亩。现残存城墙高2．5米，厚2米；城墙外有深约1米、宽2米的护城壕；城四角筑有高大平台、设有北门和西门。城内十字街和倒塌的房屋现仍清晰可见。西营城又名“锡章”
