以往我厂试验室测定钛铁中的钛,采用锌铝等作还元剂容量法,手续繁杂,时间也较长,一般需2~3小时。最近试验将钛铁用稀硫酸溶解,反应如下; 2TiFe+5H_2SO_4→Ti_2(SO_4)_3+2FeSO_4+5H_2↑并预先在锥形瓶中加固体碳酸钠和加盖还原器(在还原器内预先盛有饱和无水碳酸钠),以防止三价钛被空气氧化,然后将生成的三价钛盐溶液用硫酸高铁铵滴定Fe~(+3)+Ti~(+3)→Ti~(+4)+Fe~(+2),以硫氰酸铵作指示剂滴定至褐红色为终点。
