埃及是中东文明古国，首都开罗人口约１５００万，是世界上人口最多的城市之一。在埃及的中国侨民绝大部分都居住在开罗，但他们的数量不多，据估计仅有数百人。埃及的中国侨民有一个特点，那就是少数侨民已经在这里生活了两代以上，而大多数侨民则是在近一二十年来到埃及的。
Egypt is an ancient civilization in the Middle East with a population of about 15 million in the capital Cairo. It is one of the most populous cities in the world. The vast majority of Chinese nationals in Egypt live in Cairo, but their numbers are small, with an estimated number of only a few hundred. One characteristic of Chinese expatriates in Egypt is that a few ethnic diasporas have lived here for more than two generations, while most expatriates came to Egypt in the last decade or two.
