Louise Erdrich is a famous contemporary American woman writer in the United States. In his debut and fame as A Love Medicine, the image of water plays an important role: on the one hand, it makes the structure of the novel complete and clearly defined; on the other hand, the author uses this image to express his views on the survival and development of the Indians and the Indian culture Deeply concerned.
