目的探讨促红细胞生成素(EPO)受体表达与肿瘤间质血管生成的关系。方法采用免疫组化方法,用抗EPO受体的多克隆抗体和抗血管内皮细胞CD31单克隆抗体对50例胃癌组织标本进行分析。结果胃癌组织中微血管密度(MVD)明显高于正常对照胃组织[(25±13)比 (12±4),P<0.01],与肿瘤分化情况(P>0.05)无关,而与肿瘤大小、侵润深度、淋巴结转移、远处转移、TNM分期密切相关;EPO受体表达与MVD高度相关(P<0.01)。结论 EPO受体水平与胃癌患者的血管生成程度和病情进展高度相关,EPO在胃癌发生发展过程中可能是一种内源性的促进肿瘤血管生成的因子。
Objective To investigate the relationship between erythropoietin (EPO) receptor expression and tumor interstitial angiogenesis. Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to analyze 50 samples of gastric cancer tissues with polyclonal antibodies against EPO receptor and anti-CD31 monoclonal antibody. Results The microvessel density (MVD) in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal controls [(25 ± 13) vs (12 ± 4), P <0.01], which was not correlated with tumor differentiation (P> 0.05) It was closely related to tumor size, invasion depth, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and TNM stage. EPO receptor expression was highly correlated with MVD (P <0.01). Conclusions EPO receptor level is highly correlated with the degree of angiogenesis and progression of patients with gastric cancer. EPO may be an endogenous factor promoting tumor angiogenesis during the development of gastric cancer.
