Peripheral T-cell lymphoma-unspecified (PTCL-U) is a relatively new subtype in the pathological classification of the newly identified lymphoma of the WHO. It is a group of malignant tumors that originate in the posterior thymic T lymphocytes. The etiology may be related to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and human T cell leukemia / lymphoma virus-I (HTLV-I). The diagnosis should be combined with clinical, cell morphology, immune and genetic features, and exclude other specific T-cell lymphoma. Conventional chemotherapy ineffective, easy to relapse, 5-year survival rate of 22% to 27%, should find more effective treatment.
