应我国政府邀请的苏联磨料专家组，已于１９５８年１１月底来华。来华后即对我国全部磨料工业进行了考察。并对各磨料厂的现场生产、改建设计，以及全国磨料工业的发展规划提出了很多宝贵意见。为了使读者和磨料工业部门能够了解各国磨料工业发展动向，以便作为研究我国磨料工业发展等问题的参考，特邀请苏联磨料专家组组长、苏联国家计划委员会工具砂轮司司长格·米·伊伯利托夫同志为本刊撰写“发展磨料工业的基本方向”一文，现发表于下：
At the invitation of our government, the Soviet Union Abrasives Expert Group came to China at the end of November 1958. After coming to China, all the abrasive industry in China was inspected. And the abrasive factory site production, renovation design, as well as the development of the national abrasive industry planning put forward many valuable suggestions. In order to enable readers and abrasive industry departments to understand the development trend of abrasive industry in various countries so as to serve as a reference for studying the development of abrasive industry in China and so on, we invited the team leader of Soviet abrasive experts and the director of tool grinding wheel division of Soviet National Planning Commission Gemiy Comrade Belitov wrote a paper entitled “The Basic Direction for the Development of Abrasive Industry” now published under:
