It is clear that the CLT(communicative language teaching)policy,the heart of English education reform,has been adopted in Chinese universities for more than 10years.The aim of this research is to find out how efficient the CLT policy is for Chinese university students.In order to to answer the question,another two secondary questions have been raised.One is the transition of GT(grammar translation teaching method)to CLT.The other is how the implementation of CLT will be explored.In terms of the structure,after presenting the related literature review of CLT policies,a small-scale study with opinions gathered from Chinese University students′questionnaires as well as teachers′interviews will be provided.Meanwhile,the study methodology will be introduced and accompanied by findings,discussion and conclusion.
