刘家峽水电站初步设計第一階段勘測任务,截止七月底基本完成。为了進一步研究刘家峽的地質情况,电力工業部呈請國务院聘請長江规划委員会的苏联教授謝苗諾夫、桑澤、索科洛夫,講師雅庫舍娃,会同水电建設總局苏联專家斯特阿保夫,卡瓦利列茨,康德拉辛等人,到刘家峽進行一次全面細致的实际勘察和对以往工作成果的檢查研究。專家們於8月10日到達工地,并分赴洮河口、紅柳溝等地查勘。通过查勘,專家們对刘家峽建立大电站提出了很多宝貴的建議,一致認为在刘家峽可以修建高壩,巨型水电站的地質基礎是可靠的,并認为初步設計第一階段勘测資料是足够的。專家們在工作中表現了認真負責不怕艰苦困难的國际主义的精神。
Liujiaxia Hydropower Station preliminary design of the first phase of the survey mission, as of the end of July basically completed. In order to further study the geological situation of Liujiaxia, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry petitioned the Soviet Union’s Professor of the Soviet Union, who invited the State Council to hold the Yangtze River Planning Commission, Semenov, Sangze, Sokolov and lecturer Yakusheva, together with the Soviet Union expert Stea Pavel, Cavaliers, Candelachin and others went to Liujiaxia to conduct a comprehensive and detailed survey and research on past achievements. The experts arrived on the site on August 10 and went to Qiahekou and Hongliugou for investigation. Through the survey, experts put forward many valuable suggestions on the establishment of a large power station in Liujiaxia. They agreed that it is reliable to build the geological foundation of a high dam and a giant hydropower station in Liujiaxia, and it is considered sufficient for the preliminary design of the first phase of survey data . In the course of their work, experts have demonstrated the spirit of being responsible and not afraid of hardship and internationalism.
