四个鼻孔的鲤鱼,是微山湖主要名产之一,久负盛名。 传说,微山湖的鲤鱼四个鼻孔,为清乾隆皇帝所发现。某年暮春,乾隆皇帝下江南,顺运河途经微山湖。当乾隆爷站在船头观赏秀丽的湖光山色之时,忽见水中数条鲤鱼追逐戏游,遂令人捕获,仔细观看,见长着四个鼻孔,甚为惊奇,即令烹食,其味鲜美,信口赞曰:‘四个鼻孔的鲤鱼,味美矣！’之后,微山湖的鲤鱼即作为贡品,岁岁晋京。从此,四个鼻孔的鲤鱼也就闻名遐迩了。其实,微山湖的鲤鱼并非四个鼻孔,只是嘴上方较他地鲤鱼多长了两根短须,乍看酷似两个鼻孔而已。
