社会的转型给水墨画带来了前所未有的发展机会。水墨画的转型 ,应立足传统 ,在民族文化中寻求发展。还要主动地面对中国当下文化 ,从中寻找出新的艺术话题、艺术符号和表达方式 ,在当下中国文化中找到自己的位置。只有这样水墨画才能在全球化的背景下追求参与国际对话的新的艺术目标时 ,仍然有效地坚定自己的身份性与差异性。中国大多数现代水墨画家的探索证明了这一点。
The transformation of society has brought unprecedented opportunities for the development of ink painting. The transformation of ink painting should be based on the tradition and seek development in the national culture. But also take the initiative to face the current culture in China, from which to find new artistic topics, artistic symbols and expressions, in the current Chinese culture to find their own place. Only in this way can the ink painting effectively validate its own identity and diversity when it pursues the new artistic goal of participating in international dialogue in the context of globalization. The exploration of most Chinese modern ink painters testifies to this.
