巴单3号是由巴盟农研所用“M017”做母本,以“816”为父本,采用单交种自交选育的方法,经过7代育成的优质高产玉米新品种。1999年10月通过内蒙古自治区农作物品种审定委员会审定。 特征特性:该品种生育期130天左右,苗期无枝叉,后期抗倒伏,粒期不秃尖,熟期不死秧,果穗25～33cm,穗行数16～18行,比中单2号穗长增3～7cm,穗行增2～4行,穗大轴细出籽多,千粒重320～360g。该品种属高产优质蛋白玉米新品种,
Ba Dan 3 is a female parent of “M017” used by BaMing Agricultural Research Institute. With “816” as the male parent, the new maize variety of high quality and high yield bred after 7 generations of breeding was adopted.
