]泉州中心区改建处在旧城最敏感的地段，涉及旧城更新及环境整治深层次的问题。任务要求要充分考虑保护古城的人文物质环境和城市风貌，运用城市设计、建筑与环境设计及古建维修复原等多方面综合规划设计，结合实际可操作性强等。经过较长时间持续地研究设计实践，可望在中心区形成既要保护好传统的古建筑群、重点文物和历史地段，又能形成一些新的、环境优美、富有吸引力的城市公共空间。
] The Quanzhou Central District Redevelopment Office is in the most sensitive part of the old city, involving deep-rooted issues of renewal and environmental renovation in the old city. The mission requirements should fully consider the protection of the ancient city’s humanistic material environment and urban outlook, use of comprehensive design and design of urban design, construction and environmental design, ancient building maintenance, and restoration, combined with practical operability. After a long period of continuous research and design practice, it is expected to form in the central area old traditional buildings, key cultural relics and historical sites that are required to be protected, and new public spaces of a beautiful and attractive urban environment will be formed.
