本期选栽的是美国著名插图艺术家洛克威尔·肯特(Rockwell Kent,1882—1971)为《莎士比亚全集》所作的插图。插图本《莎士比亚全集》出版于1936年。肯特的插图当是这之前不久的作品。
This issue of the period is illustrated by the famous American illustrator Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) for The Complete Works of Shakespeare. Illustrations The Complete Works of Shakespeare was published in 1936. Kent’s illustration is a short work before this.
