Ukraine and Russia signed a natural gas storage agreement on the 1st. Under the agreement, Russia will have the right to use 13 underground gas storage tanks in Ukraine for natural gas storage and in 2002 the gas storage tank will store up to 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In late June, the two sides also signed an agreement that will allow Russia to use the Ukrainian pipeline to transport 110 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually between 2003 and 2013. From now on, all gas stations in China will start implementing the new low-sulfur diesel standard. The new standard, diesel sparse content must be less than 0.2%.
