吉林化学工业公司是我国“一五”期间兴建的大型化工基地,经过30多年的建设和发展,现已成为跨地区、跨行业的综合性石油化工企业集团。有二级企事业单位31个,职工12.4万人。生产装置298套,产品640多种,是全国十大企业之一。1985年以来,先后荣获了企业管理优秀奖、“六五”技术进步先进企业全优奖、“五一”劳动奖状、企业改革创新奖、全国思想政治工作优秀企业等20余项国家级荣誉称号。
