《刘小东在和田&新疆新观察》设计者:小马哥+橙子出版社:中信出版社设计者说:该书以笔记形式全程记载了油画家刘晓东的新疆创作之旅。设计最终呈现的是一部黑色笔记本,烫金仿皮封面,边缘做了加热处理以达到粗糙的效果,试图还原新疆大地干裂的强烈感受,书口和天头并没有裁切,呈现出一种松松散散的感觉。因为图书两部分内容既独立又有重叠之处,为使阅读更加清晰,书内篇章页选用了展现刘晓东油画作品特征的油画布印制,并将书名“刘小东在和田”“新疆新观察”印刷在两条麻布书带上,便于翻阅。
