In September 2004 (from 0:00 on September 1, 2004 to 24:00 on September 30, 2004), epidemic reports were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) nationwide. Among 27 kinds of A and B infectious diseases, there were no cases of poliomyelitis and SARS. There were 338,281 cases of other infectious diseases and 576 cases of deaths.
