我与画家黄万里是在浙江写生时偶然而相识的,在那些短暂相处的日子里,我们交流从艺的心得,彼此有了相契的感觉。如今的画坛,不少人会把绘画题材刻意地细化,是非倒也一时让人难以辨别。黄万里进入不惑之年以后,他的“牡丹”浙浙被人关注,一时似乎也到了“称王”的地步。其实,这对他来说,完全是无意的。他对牡丹的情有独钟,乃是自然生发。本来他的性格文静木讷,与牡丹近手狂静的表达方式存在着差异,但就是这种变奏,使得他笔下的牡丹越发滋润温婉。
