河北省把形象建设作为精神文明与物质文明建设的一个结合点,从重塑形象入手,努力改变河北的投资环境,有力地推动了全省“两个文明”建设。 燕赵都市“靓”起来 “九五”初始,河北省委、省政府做出了全面推进形象建设的战略决策,并在省委书记程维高的提议下,成立了“形象建设推进委员会”,组织专家、学者精心设计河北未来形象,制定形象建设战略,策划阶段性工作任务,把“重塑城市形象”作为第一阶段形象建设的首要任务来抓,在全省范围内开展了“创建文明城市”活动。
