旅游业是世界第一大产业,具备资源可综合利用、可持续发展、关联带动性强等优势,在各国都是与时俱进的朝阳产业;是离大自然最近的活力产业,也是离文化最近的活力产业。发展旅游产业的重要意义就在于只要立足于本地区特有的自然、文化资源,就能以最小的资源消耗和投入,获取最大的经济、社会效益。目前,我国正在大力推进城市转型发展,对此,积极培育旅游主导产业是重要途径和推动力。在这方面,门头沟区进行了有益的探索和实践。
