随着社会经济的发展、信息化时代的到来以及全球经济一体化的加快,信息技术已经毫无疑问地成为科技进步的重要标志。特别是多媒体和网络技术的迅猛发展,给当今小学英语教学的教育改革带来了良好的契机。在英语教学中如何充分发挥教师的主导作用,把大量的科学知识和文化信息,科学地、快速地、有效地传输给学生,是当今英语教学对教师的一项重大挑战。以计算机技术为核心的多媒体教学形式,促进了外语教学的更新,给传统课堂教学注入了新的生机和活力,促使学生积极思维、主动参与语言实践,使教学效率达到最优化,从而有效地提高课堂教学效率。
