东山陆巷镇是中国太湖之畔的一个传统江南风貌的小村镇。双栖斋位于陆巷镇的东面,毗邻种满桔子树的山坡,是主人传统风格主宅院旁的一个独立配房,用来进行聚会与休憩。双栖斋的基地以前是一个56平方米的猪圈,基地上有一株20多年的楝树与一株15年的桔子树,基地从南至北有一定坡度。房屋采用了砖混结构,拆除猪圈的老砖被全部用在新的承重墙上,略带倾斜的混凝土屋盖围绕着两株树木形成了一个天井,地面保留了原来坡度的自然形态,用砾石铺地。建筑空间是开敞的厅堂模式,形成一种人工
Dongshan Lu Xiangzhen is a traditional Jiangnan style small village on the banks of the Taihu Lake in China.
