罗曼与史托泰尔福特股份公司(Lohmann & Stolterfoht)于1974年12月介绍该厂新型“Kardostar”船用联轴节。这种双万向非可拆式联轴节主要用于主机一齿轮装置弹性安装的渡船上,以便抑制主机噪音传往船舶底座和船体。在弹性安装的主机与刚性布置的螺旋桨——推力轴承之间,必须装设这种弹性联轴节,以补偿可能出现的轴位移。这种弹性联轴节对于艉机船也很适合。艉机船的主机功率以及齿轮箱尺寸都比较大。采用这种联轴节后,船舶底座的变形不致通过螺旋桨轴对齿轮箱发生不良影响。
Lohmann & Stolterfoht introduced the new “Kardostar” marine coupling at the plant in December 1974. This dual universal non-removable coupling is mainly used for the flexible installation of ferry gear on the main engine in order to inhibit the host noise transmission to the ship’s base and the hull. Between a resiliently mounted mainframe and a rigidly arranged propeller-thrust bearing, such an elastic coupling must be installed to compensate for possible shaft displacements. This flexible coupling is also very suitable for a boat.艉 the main engine power and gear box size are relatively large. With this type of coupling, the deformation of the ship’s base does not adversely affect the gearbox through the propeller shaft.
