This paper introduces the design principle and function code of English Listening Practice Software in detail. The software makes it easy to read English text fluently with Microsoft TTS Speech Engine in VFP environment. It also can choose the sound type, freely adjust the volume and speed of reading, Greatly improve the students’ listening learning.
