In this study, magnesium sulfate was used as an anesthetic agent to compare the anesthetic effects of magnesium sulfate on sea cucumber seedlings under different water temperatures. The anesthetic effects of different concentrations of magnesium sulfate on the sea cucumber seedlings were analyzed. The experimental water temperature was set at six temperature gradients of 11 ℃, 13 ℃, 15 ℃, 17 ℃, 19 ℃ and 21 ℃. The experimental specifications of the sea cucumber seedlings were 40.26 ± 1.84g (L), medium (M) 21.83 ± 1.72g, small specification (S) 11.03 ± 1.63g. The experimental results showed that: 1. When the concentration of magnesium sulfate anesthesia was the same, the larger the size of the sea cucumber was, the longer the time required for anesthesia was and the shorter the recovery time was. With the increase of anesthetic concentration, However, the recovery time showed a gradual extension. The anesthetic effects of different concentrations of magnesium sulfate on different specifications of sea cucumber were significantly different (P <0.05). With the increase of water temperature, the time of anesthesia in A. ginseng was shortened from 26.13 ± 17.78min to 21.47 ± 3.52min at the temperature of 11 ℃ ~ 20 ℃, but the recovery time increased from 26.13 ± 17.78min to 71.05 ± 12.32min. Under the condition of different water temperature, the effect of magnesium sulfate on the anesthetic effect of A. glabra seedlings was significant (P <0.05). The results showed that the appropriate concentration of anesthesia of Sophora japonica under 20g was 0.1-0.25mol·L-1, and the suitable anesthesia concentration of body weight above 20g was 0.25-0.35mol·L-1.
