我跟《红岩》沾上边,是从认识杨甦开始的。那时候我在南岸从教,业余写杂文,偶或也写一点评论,便有幸厕身杨甦组织的一些评论活动。一来二去渐渐熟了,感觉那是一位和善、宽厚的师长,从不摆架子,摆起龙门阵来尽可海阔天空,机趣和睿智不时会从闲言碎语间流泻出来。人格亲和力化成文字感召力,无论与他年相若还是后于他,都愿听他召唤,把他当作重庆文学评论的一面旗帜。作为《红岩》副主编之一,他主持的评论版,一直办得颇有生气。所以我到文联工作后,始终都属意《红岩》有评论版,保持其创作与评论相并行的固有风采。
