九十年代是实现我国社会主义现代化战略目标的重要时期,也是建设邮电通信事业的关键时期。党的十四大已将九十年代国民经济的发展速度由年均增长6%提高到8～9%,邮电通信更应加快发展,超前发展。九十年代邮电通信发展总的目标是:“八五”迈大步,提前五年实现翻三番;“九五”再翻一番,适应小康社会对通信的需要。到下世纪再经过二、三十年的努力,使我国的通信达到中等发达国家的通信水平。
The 1990s are an important period for realizing the strategic goal of our country’s socialist modernization and are also a crucial period for building the post and telecommunications business. The 14th National Congress of the Party has raised the pace of development of the national economy in the 1990s from an average of 6% to 8% to 9%. Posts and telecommunications should accelerate development and advance ahead of schedule. The overall goal of the development of post and telecommunications in the 1990s is: stride forward in 1985 and triple by five years in advance; and double the number in 1995 so as to meet the needs of a well-to-do society for communications. In the next century, after another two to three decades of efforts, our country’s communications will reach the level of communications among the moderately developed countries.
