In order to clarify the clinical value of fluorescence in situ hybridization in the detection of urine and bladder transitional cell chromosome aberrations in bladder cancer patients, we collected 22 cases of bladder cancer patients urine and 21 cases of bladder irrigation fluid, respectively, urine Cytology, flow cytometry and fluorescence in situ hybridization detection. At the same time, 5 cases of normal people, 5 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients urine and 2 cases of bladder irrigation fluid specimens as a control. The results showed that the positive rates of urinary cytology, flow cytometry and fluorescence in situ hybridization in urinary bladder cancer patients were 27.3% (6/22), 45.5% (10/22) and 50% respectively. 0% (11/22), the combined positive rate of the three reached 68.2%. The positive rates of bladder irrigation were 20.0% (4/20), 40.0% (8/20), 71.4% (15/21) and 76.2% (16/21), respectively. It is considered that fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) can detect the chromosomal aberration of exfoliated cells in urine of bladder cancer patients as an important method for diagnosis of bladder cancer and may have important clinical significance in monitoring postoperative recurrence and prognosis.
