What are the channels through which clinicians generally obtain information about new drugs? What subjective and objective factors influence the doctor’s tendency to use one or more sources of information for drugs and use the drug in prescriptions? This is a concern for pharmaceutical manufacturers, their sales representatives and drug dealers. This article is based on “reasonable action theory” and slightly improved, picking a group of doctors with relatively uniform professional groups as the object, adopting a questionnaire survey method, and conducting an analysis of these issues better than previous similar studies. The results obtained are instructive for how drug dealers can increase sales and choose reasonable market information among clinicians.
