系统功能语言学从社会文化的角度研究语境,关联理论则是从心理认知的角度研究语境。二者语境观的相互补充与有机结合有助于话语分析、翻译等问题的解释。

Systemic-functional linguistics studies the context from a socio-cultural perspective. Relevance theory studies the context from the perspective of psychological cognition. The complementarity and organic combination of the two contexts are helpful for the interpretation of discourse analysis and translation.
