1965年,在古撒马尔罕阿弗拉西卜遗址一个大厅中发现的“贵宾厅”粟特壁画激发了很多学术交流以及关于其年代和意义的诸多猜想(图一)。本文旨在历史环境中回顾大厅图像叙事中所庆祝的事件,解释为什么没有出现其他地区粟特艺术中流行的神祗和宗教人物图像叙事的原因。
In 1965, the “VIP Room” Sogdian fresco found in a hall at the site of Abrahash of the ancient Samarkand inspired many academic exchanges and many conjectures about its age and significance (Figure 1). The purpose of this article is to review the events celebrated in the lobby imagery narratives in historical context and explain why there are no narratives of the images of gods and religious figures prevailing in Sogdian art in other regions.
