硒是人体每天必须补充的微量元素之一,硒含量较高的有鱼类(青鱼、沙丁鱼等)、虾类等水产品。其次为动物的心、肾、肝。但动物内脏不能多吃,容易出现高血压、高血脂等疾病。再次蔬菜中含量最高的为金花菜、荠菜、大蒜、蘑菇,还有豌豆、大白菜、南瓜、萝卜、韭菜、洋葱、蕃茄、莴苣等。另外芝麻、麦芽、啤酒酵母、燕麦、大麦、鸡鸭鹅蛋等也含有硒。
