实行铁的纪律,既是我们党的纪律的一个基本原则,又是实现党的团结统一的一个重要保证。铁的纪律原则的特征是:第一,强制性。党的纪律一经制定,党的各级组织和全体党员必须无条件地执行,谁不执行就追究谁,党纪面前人人平等。第二,统一性。党的纪律对各级组织和每个党员都是适用的,都具有同样的约束力,纪律的制定、遵守、执行全党统一。第三,严肃性。一方面,一切违纪党员都必须受到纪律的制裁,按错误的性质和情节的轻重,给以批评教育
